Disciples of Democracy: Educational and Engagement Series, Part 1
Hello!
On Saturday, May 20, from 10 AM - 12 PM, at 4293 Austell Road, Austell, GA 30106, a new multi-part education and engagement series designed to increase civic literacy and community engagement will begin. The Disciples of Democracy: Educational and Engagement Series Part 1 will connect the 2023 Georgia Legislative Session to the lives of the people in Cobb County and other parts of Georgia.
In the upcoming months, we will continue to work collaboratively as a community to:
- Identify what concerns us most about what did or did not happen during the 2023 Legislative Session.
- Build stronger connections to Cobb County’s elected officials.
- Work to understand and create advocacy plans on issues that matter most to individuals or organizations.
- Create a comprehensive plan to have our needs addressed during the 2024 Legislative Session.
We are excited as we continue to grow our community partnerships! We welcome our newest educational partner, For Which It Stance. We look forward to learning more about our community as we strive to better serve our community.
